Sarah Talach

M.S., CCC-SLP

Sarah has been a practicing speech-language pathologist for 17 years. She holds a California license as well as her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC’s) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Sarah completed her B.A. in Speech-Language Pathology at California State University, Chico in 2003 and her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology at University of the Pacific in 2004. In 2005, Sarah started her career in a medical setting working with adults who suffered from strokes, traumatic brain injury, neurological disorders as well as voice and swallowing disorders. In 2010, Sarah transitioned to working with children in a school setting while continuing to work per diem with adults in a hospital.

Over a span of 10 years, Sarah has worked with children in various school-based settings ranging in age from preschool through high school. Sarah has worked with children in an outpatient medical setting where she also taught parent education classes including one for parents of late talkers as well as More Than Words® created by The Hanen Program®.

Sarah resides in Walnut creek with her husband and two sons. She is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Oakland-East Bay. In January 2020, Sarah joined the board of the Parkinson Network of Mt. Diablo as the Membership Chair. Sarah was appointed as a trustee to the Walnut Creek School District School Board in December 2021.
